Episode 18

For both Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice, this is the last episode that has aired on tv. The next episodes do not come on for a couple weeks, so it may be a little while before I update again. Episode 18 is a great episode for both shows. A lot happens in them and you will be very surprised. There are only a few episodes left for the seasons until the finale, which is in May. There are many different things that happen in Private Practice that I will get to in a little bit. For Grey's Anatomy, this is the singing episode, so it is pretty emotional and a lot is about to happen. Well, here we go, I hope you enjoy what I am about to tell you about Grey's Anatomy.
For episode 18 in Grey's Anatomy, it starts by showing you the crash that happened in the last episode with Callie and Arizona. Since Callie took off her seatbelt to reach back and get her phone, she is thrown through the windshield with tramatic injuries. Callie watches herself from afar and starts to sing. After a little while, the others join in singing with her. There are many different injuries and the doctors can't decide what to do first. The chief ends up flying in Addison to help with the baby. (Cross-over)! Cristina found a new way that she would like to operate on Callie's heart, but Teddy says no. In the operating room, Cristina ends up doing the operation anyway. Derek works on the brain, while Addison delivers the baby. Arizona ends up coming in to help get the baby to start breathing. As Callie is about to wake up, Arizona and Mark make peace. Things become complicated between Lexie and Avery because Lexie is comforting Mark. Meredith gets very emotional because she really wants to have a baby, and it is not working. Callie ends up waking up with Arizona by her side, and the first thing that she says is that she will marry Arizona.
In Private Practice, Sheldon and Violet have 3 teenage girls who got pregnant in a pack, but one mother does not want Violet to be the therapist because she read her book. Violet then gets introduced to Sheldon's girlfriend, who critized her. Cooper has a patient who is a piano prodigy with a tumor. He was taken in by his grandfather when his parents passed away. Since Patrick has no other way of communicating with his grandfather he wants a different surgery that will let him keep his hands. There is a lot of arguing because the grandfather wants the safer surgery, but the kid wants the surgery where he is awake. The kid ends up losing his legs, but can still play the piano like he wanted. Cooper arrives home to see that Charlotte surprised him with his own piano. Sheldon ends up breaking up with Marla because of how it has hurt Violet. Pete's mother ends up in the hospital again because Pete's brother gave her pills that made her sick. At first Pete did not want to see her, but then he got up the courage to do so. Luckily, Pete got to take Lucas and the both of them talked with her before she passed away.
Much has happened in this episode on both shows. Sometimes too much to take in at one time. Overall, I feel that episode 18 was a step up from the other episodes because of what they were about. A lot got accomplished, and we will just have to wait until the next episode comes on to see what happens next!

Episode 17

Well we are in the last season for both Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice. The new seasons will not start up until about September. Since I can no longer tell you what is going on season by season, I am going to update you on what has recently been happening on Grey's Anatomy, since I have already been doing so for Private Practice. Both shows are becoming very suspenseful and eventful as we are getting closer to the finale that will be airing in May. Well i won't keep you waiting any longer, I will start by telling you about what is happening in Grey's Anatomy.
In Episode 17 on Grey's Anatomy, the chief is trying to get his wife into Derek's Alzheimer's trial, but the trial is full. Avery and Bailey have a diabetic patient. Some harsh words are said from the husband because he is afraid that his wife is not going to get any better. One funny thing that happens is that Karev overhears a conversation between April and Dr. Stark about their date. On the other side of things, Mark and Arizona get ready for Callie's baby shower. Now things start to go downhill for everyone. April tells Stark that she can't go out with him, while personal problems occur with one of the patients that Meredith and Derek are working with. Also, Teddy gets told that she can not operate on Henry because of their personal relationship, so Cristina steps in. The Alzheimer's patient drops out of the trial so now the chief's wife can step in to take the tests. Arizona and Callie are on their way to a Bed and Breakfast when Arizona surprises Callie by asking her to marry her. The episode ends by them two getting into an accident. This is leaving suspense for next time.
On Private Practice episode 17, Violet gets some good reviews from Dr.'s on her book except for Dr. Phillips. Things start to heat up when Sheldon starts to date her. Pete has a patient who is having her sister be the surrogate mother. Come to find out that the sister and the husband have grown close and are now together. Things start to get complicated and Addison has to do emergency surgery which leads to the sister not wanting to give up the baby. After a little bit of disagreeing, the sister finally gives the baby up to the real mother. Cooper has a patient who is a wrestler and has a serious heart condition. He is on his way to get a full ride scholarship and has to partake in a wrestling match to keep the scholarship. Cooper does not want this to happen, but Tyler wrestles anyway and has serious complications. Come to find out that he already got the scholarship before the match. In the beginning of the episode, Addison has been getting sick in the mornings. Amelia thinks that she could be pregnant. Addison comes to find out that she is not pregnant, but wonders if it is time to talk to Sam about taking the relationship to the next level? Guess you'll have to wait and see until the next episode.

Season 7, Episode 16

Well the end is near, this is going to be the last season of Grey's Anatomy. The eighth season is going to be starting in September. Since this is the last season, I will start updating you on what is happening episode to episode. Both shows are getting very interesting and at the end of every episode, they keep you guessing what is going to happen in the next week. Hopefully you are enjoying reading about what has happend between the different seasons, and will enjoy knowing in more detail about the episodes. In my opinion, Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice take turns as to which one has the more interesting episode. Private Practice was starting to get you guessing when Addison's mom passed away, and now it is taking a turn and Grey's Anatomy is keeping people waiting impatiently on what is going to happen next. But, this post will be about the season, so just like the show, you will have to wait to hear what is going on until my next post!
In Season 7 of Grey's Anatomy, two of the residents who came from the other hospital finally became regulars in the show. April and Jackson will join the other residents by moving in with Meredith and Derek. This season also has another crossover. Derek's sister, Amelia, who is in Private Practice will make an appearance. Izzie will be back just for a short time to have a complete ending to her and Alex's relationship. Even though she is having closure, she is not neccessarily coming back for season 7. It is said that there are many more interesting things to come for Grey's Anatomy, including the musical episode, that aired on March 31st.
For Private Practice, Episode 16, have some ups and downs. It starts out by Sam and Naomi wondering what their kiss meant and the end of episode 15. Not only is this confusing but Gabriel comes back who used to date Naomi. After thinking about everything, Naomi decides to leave everything in the past and just leave Oceanside. A couple comes into the office and starts having everyone on their toes. The woman is pregnant, but the baby is not doing so good, so she wants to harvest its egg. At the end of the day when the child is born, they realize that they just can not go through with it. By Addison helping the couple, it helped her heal from Bizzy's death. On the other side of things, Amelia's friend tested positive for Huntington's Disease and wants to take her life. Amelia ends up talking her out of this. Sheldon is frustrated and complains about being tired of always being the friend and not the boyfriend. Violet is having trouble picking a picture for her book, and Pete helps her by telling her she will only pick the best photo if she is honest.
Now you'll have to wait till the next post to see what will happen next on Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice.
